Managers from AFSA member companies who have gone through the EDGE program give it high marks for classroom content and peer-to-peer learning opportunities.
“The classes were taught by leaders in the finance industry, who also maintain the highest standards in excellence and customer service,” said Ross E. Gartman, Branch Manager at Heights Finance who was voted Year 2 Class President by his classmates. “At THE EDGE, you rub elbows with peers who are there because of individual accomplishments at their own companies and in the industry. It truly is a program full of the “Best of the Best” in the consumer finance industry. The networking opportunity is invaluable to all who attend.”
Graduates of the AFSA Leadership Development Program describe the program as an important investment and a critical step to taking leadership teams to a level of excellence in their organizations.
“In addition to the content, I was able to expand my professional network, benchmark best practices with other leaders in the financial sector as well as build long lasting friendships,” said Tom Korllos, Vice President, Director, OneMain Financial and Class President “Participants also had the opportunity to interact with multiple CEO’s and other senior leaders in the financial industry.”
