What is the most important issue facing your company right now?
ACI Speedpay has been focused on meeting the new challenges faced by billers and consumers, from the rapid adoption of mobile wallet billing and payment methods to the need for self-service payment arrangements. The new Delay My Payment feature we introduced enables consumers to make such arrangements and payments within the mobile wallet already on their phone, while our Manage My Payment solution offers similar functionality within a browser. ACI Speedpay has also introduced new call center solutions that reduce PCI risk for lenders, which is especially important as many of their CSRs are now taking calls (and payments) remotely.
What are some key trends your company is tracking?
Consumers continue to migrate to mobile devices and the ACI Speedpay Pulse survey shows that twice as many consumers have paid a bill using a mobile wallet as the previous year. The survey also confirms the accelerated usage of digital billing and payment methods in general, especially those offered directly by the biller. In fact, over 41 percent of those surveyed paid their auto loan or lease using the lender’s website or mobile app, with similar results for credit card and other loan payments.
