AFSA President & CEO discusses issues with CFPB Director

AFSA President & CEO Bill Himpler last Thursday met with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Director Kathy Kraninger. Himpler and Kraninger discussed a number of issues affecting consumer credit, including debt settlement companies.

Several days after AFSA’s meeting with Kraninger, the CFPB released a blog post detailing the harm that many of these companies do to consumers.
