Laura Udis is the Small Dollar, Marketplace, and Installment Lending Program Manager in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Research, Markets, and Regulations Division. Ms. Udis joined the Bureau in 2013. Ms. Udis served in the Colorado Attorney General’s Office as the Administrator of the Consumer Credit Code from 1988 to 2013, and was responsible for regulation, supervision, and enforcement of state laws on payday and installment lending, debt collection, and debt management companies. She was also a Senior Financial Services Advocate at the Consumer Federation of America. Ms. Udis has a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Colorado.
