Laura KofoidCo-founder & CEO
Laura Kofoid is co-founder and CEO of Laudi Vidni custom leather goods. Laudi Vidni (“individual” spelled backwards) is
revolutionizing the tired handbag and accessory industry, enabling easy product customization that allows people of all
stripes to create custom handbags and accessories for the same price as traditional off-the-shelf brands. Laura and her
friend Grace founded Laudi Vidni because they were tired of buying bags that weren’t quite right, rejecting both the status
quo and snobbery of traditional handbag labels. So they rewrote the rules with a more human-friendly and environmentally
sustainable business model that meticulously custom makes every exquisite leather bag in the USA.
Laura earned her BS Marketing from the University of Illinois and her Masters Business Administration from Harvard
University. She serves on the Women’s Board of The Joffrey Ballet, the Board of Directors of the ACLU-Illinois where she is
co-chair of the Development Committee, and the Board of Directors for the Lou and Jean Malnati Brain Tumor Institute at
Northwestern Medicine. She and her husband of 32 years, and their two children, have traveled the world visiting over 40
countries and all 7 continents.
