Fair Lending, Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity: The CFPB ECOA Rule
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has issued an interpretive rule clarifying that prohibitions on sex discrimination in the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) include discrimination relating to sexual orientation and gender identity.
