2024 AFSA State Trifecta and Majority Breakdown
AFSA’s State Government Affairs team released their state trifecta and majority overview.
Michigan and Minnesota lost their Democrat trifectas by losing control of their respective state houses, while New Hampshire Republicans held their trifecta by narrow margins. After the 2024 election there are now 38 trifectas at the state government level where one party controls the legislature and the governor’s office.
