Pennsylvania HB 1580 – Remote Work
This past week, AFSA’s State Government Affairs team sent a letter to the Pennsylvania House Commerce Committee expressing support for HB 1580.
This bill would permit specific personnel from licensed sales finance companies to engage in remote work. Facilitating remote work will benefit all parties involved, offering license holders greater flexibility in their staffing policies while maintaining the same level of secure services to the public. This flexible approach reduces real estate costs, broadens employment opportunities, fosters inclusivity, and enhances employee satisfaction, ultimately benefiting both the company and its customers.
With AFSA’s support, HB 1580 was approved unanimously by the House Commerce Committee on October 18.
