AFSA SGA Whitepaper Covers Trends in Remote Work
AFSA’s October State Government Affairs white paper covers Trends in Remote Working. The white paper provides an overview of state regulatory guidance affecting remote work for financial services companies during the COVID-19 pandemic, as 44 states and the District of Columbia have provided guidance allowing employees of licensees to work remotely without the need for a branch license.
Throughout the pandemic, AFSA members have proven that their employees can work at home safely and effectively through operational adjustments. Accordingly, we sent letters to state regulators requesting permanent guidance authorizing licensees of all types to allow employees to work remotely. The October white paper details these advocacy efforts and the various responses we received from 26 states.
The paper is also available under the State Resources section of AFSA’s website.
