Winslow examines issues affecting members in latest edition of AFSA Today podcast
AFSA’s Celia Winslow, Vice President of Legal & Regulatory Affairs, discusses the association’s recent Law & Compliance Symposium and the latest legal and regulatory issues impacting members in the next installment of AFSA Today, the association’s podcast.
On the podcast, she also does a deep dive into how the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is changing under new Director Kathy Kranninger from a philosophy of “rulemaking by enforcement” under previous Director Richard Cordray.
Winslow also examines the latest developments in AFSA’s advocacy on federal regulations affecting member companies such as the Military Lending Act; the Telephone Consumer Protection Act; and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
“We encourage AFSA members to call us with their concerns on these issues,” Winslow said. “We are happy to update them on our advocacy efforts on all of these issues.
