Registration Open for AFSAEF’s The EDGE and the UNC Leadership program!
Registration has opened for the American Financial Services Association Education Foundation’s (AFSAEF) THE EDGE program. THE EDGE provides high quality training for branch managers and team leaders by providing layered modules of learning.
Management I courses provide a sound basic knowledge for financial managers in time management, consumer lending, financial services law, communications, rates and profits, performance management and business ethics. Management II courses relate to financial statements, competitive environment, employment and financial services law, funding strategies, market strategies, the monetary system and being a great coach at work. The industry's top executives share their personal formulas to be successful in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
The 2018 dates for The EDGE program are June 10-15, 2018, at the Stetson School of Business and Economics at Mercer University in Atlanta, Ga. The deadline to register for the program is April 30, 2018. For full information, checkout the EDGE brochure.
Registration is also open for the AFSAEF Leadership Development Program held at the University of North Carolina from July 14-21, 2018.
The AFSA/UNC leadership 6-day intensive program provides an opportunity to invest in the development of your organization's future leaders. With challenging case studies and lively discussions, role-playing, and team building exercises, your employees will hone their leadership, strategic thinking and performance skills and “think outside the box.” This fast-paced program allows participants to immerse themselves in innovative principles of management and leadership through class discussions, case analyses, ethics, professional presentations, negotiations, experience change simulation, and the outdoor team building exercise.
