John Pizzi is the Head of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships. John’ leads FIS’s strategic partnership relationships with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Snowflake and other industry hyperscalers. He works inside and outside the organization to drive our best ideas forward and accelerate innovation in solutions we deliver to our thousands of global customers.
John has spent most of his career successfully founding, building and transacting innovative high growth financial technology startups. Along the way, he has helped transform the banking industry by pioneering online banking, mobile banking, and mobile payments in partnership with some of the world’s largest financial services brands and helped re-shape the Capital Markets industry by driving a focus on cloud computing, access to data, cyber security, blockchain, and generative Al.
John joined FIS in 2013 following the acquisition of mFoundry (President & COO) and rejoined in 2019 following the acquisition of BaseVenture (Chairman & CEO). John graduated from Vanderbilt University and after years in New York and San Francisco, lives in Nashville TN.
