Greg Warren

Comedian

Greg Warren is one of the most visible and popular comedians touring today. His two most recent standup specials on Hulu, “The Salesman” and “Where the Field Corn Grows,” and his podcast, “The Consumers,” on Nate Bargatze’s Nateland podcast and webcast platform have garnered great reviews and strong viewership..

After a decade of selling beloved household brands such as Pringles, Jif, Crisco, Sunny Delight, Folgers and Duncan Hines at Procter & Gamble, Greg pursued a career in comedy. He began his journey as an Account Executive in Houston, TX, where he collaborated with Grocers Supply Inc, one of the largest grocery wholesalers in the nation. Subsequently, he moved to Cincinnati to work with The Kroger Company, focusing on two of its divisions. During his final two years at P&G, Greg transitioned into a project manager role at the corporate headquarters.

In 2001, Greg left the corporate world behind to become a stand-up comedian, embarking on a successful national tour as a headliner. He has made appearances on several television shows, including Late Night with Seth Meyers, Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central Presents, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, BET, and CMT. Greg has established himself as a fan favorite on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show and can be heard daily on Sirius/XM, and has built a strong fan base with an act inspired by his Midwestern upbringing. His CDs, “Fish Sandwich” (2017) “Running Out of Time” (Sept 2013) and “One Star Wonder” (June 2009) hit #1, #3 and #6 respectively on the iTunes Comedy charts. Self-deprecation, frustration, and an arsenal of lifelike characters highlight Greg’s colorful perspective.

Greg hails from St. Louis, MO, where his father was a high school wrestling coach and his mother made him play clarinet in the band. He has captivated audiences with anecdotes about the conflict inherent in meshing the two disparate high school identities of varsity wrestler and band geek. Greg was also a West Point Cadet, where he distinguished himself by amassing an impressive tally of demerits and endless hours of pointless marching. After moving on to the University of Missouri, he studied journalism and became an All-American college wrestler.
