Exhibiting at the 2021 Independents Conference & Expo is an excellent way to increase your brand visibility and get your products and services in front of industry leaders. AFSA is working closely with the Marriott to ensure attendees are able to participate in all aspects of the conference, including the Expo Hall, in a safe way. In addition, the Marriott has a few suggestions for a successful Expo booth:
- Create a QR CODE where attendees can scan and download your documents rather than having physical copies.
- If you want to give away items at your booth, consider using a small bag with a handle that is self-serve.
- Reduce the number and type of giveaways and only dispense them individually by hand. Eschew any serve-yourself items, especially food and drink.
- If you request that guests complete paperwork, provide pens from a dispenser labelled “Clean” and provide a depository labelled “Used.” Wipe all used pens with cleanser before placing them back in the “Clean” dispenser. Consider allowing attendees to keep pens.
