NV Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar to Keynote Independents Conference

AFSA is pleased to announce that Nevada Secretary of State, Hon. Cisco Aguilar  will speak at the 2023 Independents Conference & Expo!

Aguilar was elected in 2022, confirming his rising star in state and national politics, while bringing his legal, corporate, and political expertise to the table. He’ll share his experiences and lessons learned in a thought-provoking conversation, from his time on the Nevada Athletic Commission, his education and job training advocacy for young people, and his time as General Counsel for Agassi Graf and the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education.

Born in Tucson, Arizona to a working-class family, Aguilar was the first in his family to graduate from college, with a B.S. in finance and accounting, an MBA and J.D. all from the University of Arizona.

In his role as Nevada’s Secretary of State, Aguilar’s office not only oversees the state’s electoral and ballot processes, but also a host of business regulatory matters, including regulation of the securities industry in Nevada.
