MoneySKILL Financial Education: Resources Parents & Kids Can Bank On
During this time of uncertainty, the American Financial Services Association and its member companies are doing their best to help consumers maintain their financial security and flexibility, while also continuing to support the communities where our members live and work. In this unprecedented moment, it is important for us to provide help where we can and to look for ways to perhaps do a bit more.
AFSA is continuing to support the work of the AFSA Education Foundation by promoting financial literacy and empowerment. We want to take a moment to specifically highlight the AFSAEF’s free online personal-finance curriculum, MoneySKILL.
MoneySKILL is an adaptable online course with content appropriate for youth and adults that covers a broad range of personal-finance topics. Whether you’re a teacher looking to move your class online, a parent now homeschooling, or an organization seeking online education resources, MoneySKILL is a free, 100 percent online curriculum that helps provide important financial literacy education.
To learn more, please visit www.afsaef.org to find financial education resources and register as a MoneySKILL instructor. In light of the growing demand for online education, and particularly financial education, the AFSA Education Foundation has committed to prioritizing virtual trainings and demonstrations as needed and is always available to provide technical support.
