A third-generation member of the Tasca family, Bob began his professional racing career in the NHRA Alcohol Funny Car category in 2006 and debuted in Nitro Funny Car in 2008. He has earned 22 NHRA event wins and in 2024, he set a world speed record at 341.68 mph, becoming the first driver ever to break the 340 mph barrier.
Away from the dragstrip, Bob Tasca III serves as CEO of the Tasca Automotive Group, one of the largest privately held dealer groups in the United States. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its retail footprint while maintaining its deeply rooted philosophy: “You Will Be Satisfied.” Tasca is known for applying a disciplined, metrics-driven approach to both business operations and motorsports strategy, balancing his dual roles as racer and executive with precision.
