Elevate in Salt Lake | Chris Waddell
AFSA is pleased to announce that U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Famer, Chris Waddell, will be the inaugural Level Up Luncheon speaker at our Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City.
Waddell, a world-class athlete and founder of the One-Revolution Foundation, is a 13-time Paralympic medalist, author, and the first ambassador to the International Paralympic Committee.
After retiring from his Hall of Fame skiing career, Waddell journeyed to Tanzania and became the first paraplegic to summit Mount Kilimanjaro unassisted, a feat documented in the film, “One Revolution.” Building on that experience, his travel-adventure TV show, “Living It” will premier in 2024. Chris has been a significant voice for people with disabilities, working to create a world where individuals with disabilities are seen for their potential instead of their limitations. For all these efforts, the Dalai Lama named Waddell an “Unsung Hero of Compassion.”
Join us in Salt Lake and our Annual Meeting to be motivated and inspired by Chris’s dramatic experiences and how to become a champion of your team, business and yourself, while embracing and being empowered by the challenges.
Sponsorship of this session is available. Please contact Jenny Bengston at (202) 776-7304 or jbengtson@afsamail.org for details.
