Colorado ADMT Rulemaking Timeline
AFSA’s State Government Affairs team has closely monitored the Colorado Attorney General’s rulemaking process for Automated Decision-Making Technology (ADMT) law (CO SB 26 -189).
The AG’s website previously announced that a revised proposed rulemaking draft would be released by September 23 but removed that date from its website on September 23. The website now states that the revised draft will be released five days before the October 26 public hearing.
AFSA submitted comments during both the pre-rulemaking and proposed rulemaking stages and was prepared to comment on the revised proposal by the original October 5 deadline. AFSA is awaiting the release of the revised proposed rule and will be submitting comments accordingly. AFSA will also be testifying remotely during the October 26 public hearing.
