AFSA is pleased to announce U.S. Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT) as the featured speaker at breakfast on Wednesday, October 4 at the 2023 Annual Meeting.
Congressman Moore serves on the House Ways and Means and Budget Committees, and in his first term also served on the Armed Services Committee, all venues crucial to the American economy and AFSA Members. He has been a leading voice on Industrial Loan Corporations (ILCs) and the National Defense Authorization Act packages for FY22 and FY23. He has sought to implement pro-growth bipartisan policies, with the distinction during his freshman term of having four bills signed into law by President Joe Biden.
Congressman Moore spent the bulk of his career working in the industries where his legislative efforts have impact: financial services, healthcare, education, and supply chain. Prior to his election to Congress he served in the U.S. Foreign Service.
