The EDGE Advisory Board
- Purpose – Oversees THE EDGE – Education, Development, Growth and Enrichment program held each June at Mercer University in Atlanta. Collaborates with the Stetson School of Business Faculty to offer an educational environment for consumer finance industry professionals.
- Calls/Meetings – Meet in-person twice a year at the AFSA Independents Conference and Annual Conference.
- Eligibility – Executives and/or senior training and human resources professionals from AFSA member companies who enroll students in the program.
- Staff Liaison – Rhonda Ashburn, Executive Director, AFSA Education Foundation
Leadership Development Program Steering Committee
- Purpose – Provides oversight to the AFSA Leadership Development Program held at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill for mid- to senior-level employees to immerse themselves in innovative principles of management.
- Key Issues – Program relevance, content and marketing, value to participants, and return on investment to companies.
- Calls/Meetings – Meet in-person three times a year.
- Eligibility – Finance company members executives investing in the leadership development program for their employees.
- Staff Liaison – Rhonda Ashburn, Executive Director, AFSA Education Foundation
