AFSA Welcomes BCFP’s Kraninger
AFSA this week submitted a letter of welcome to incoming Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (BCFP) Director Kathy Kraninger. The letter shared the history of AFSA and the important role that its members play in the lives of ordinary Americans.
“AFSA supports the Bureau’s mission to make consumer financial markets work for consumers, responsible providers, and the economy as a whole,” Bill Himpler, President-elect of AFSA wrote. “Recently, we have been engaged with the Bureau in its rulemakings on debt collection, small-dollar loans, small business data collection, and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.”
Himpler extended his congratulations and offered assistance as Director Kraninger assumes her new role.
