AFSA Opening New Communication Channel to Members
The American Financial Services Association (AFSA) is launching a new communications channel for AFSA members and potential members. In early September, AFSA will air it’s first-ever podcast focusing on a discussion of issues relevant to the consumer credit industry.
The goal of the podcast, called “AFSA Today” is providing an additional channel to keep AFSA member companies informed on issues facing the consumer credit industry, ranging from the impact of federal and state legislation and regulation, to the rapid pace of technology, to the political landscape in Washington DC and around the nation.
“AFSA Today” podcasts will begin on a monthly basis with the possibility of increasing the frequency going into 2019 after the first three initial podcasts.
The September podcast will feature Chris Stinebert, President and CEO of AFSA, in conversation with Jack Ferry, AFSA’s Vice President of Communications.
They will discuss AFSA’s formula for success and effectiveness, some of the hot-button issues facing all AFSA members, navigating Washington DC and state capitals, and the changing political landscape of Washington DC over the past 10 years.
The podcasts will be capped at 20 minutes allowing for listening during a commute or during a lunch break.
