Panel Set for Media Roundtable Session at AFSA’s Annual Meeting
In Washington D.C.’s new rough-and-tumble era of so-called fake news, leakers and a contentious relationship between the media and the White House, how are reporters managing to cover the financial services industry?
Join the discussion at the Media Roundtable breakout session at AFSA’s upcoming 101st Annual Meeting at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Wednesday, October 25 at 9:30 a.m.
The reporters, who cover business issues on Capitol Hill, but focus on the financial services industry plus its federal regulators, will be discussing a wide range of topics from the impact of social media to the accelerated news cycles.
The panel will consist of Ian McKendry, Congress Reporter for American Banker; Elizabeth Dexheimer, Reporter for Bloomberg News; Victoria Guida, Financial Services Reporter for Politico Pro; and Ginger Gibson, Washington Correspondent for Reuters News.
The panel will be moderated by Jack Ferry, AFSA’s Vice President of Communications, a former reporter.
